COMMITMENT TO MOTHER EARTH

The celebration of World Earth Day is a tradition that since 1970 has wanted to highlight the importance of care and respect for the elements that make up and are part of our daily lives.

Every year, more than 1000 million people in 190 countries join this celebration to carry out all kinds of activities aimed at combating climate change and all the problems that this situation has been generating mother earth.

For Seatitan, it is also a special date in which we want to highlight different tasks that we can personally advance to do our bit and make a commitment to the planet in this global celebration.

  • Recycle: in the Pacific Ocean, there are at least 87,000 tons of garbage, according to a group of researchers. Recycling saves energy because it reduces the work of extraction, transport and processing of new raw materials.
  • Teach children to take care of nature: children learn more with actions, so it is not superfluous to do activities that make them aware of the importance of respecting the environment.
  • To take care of the water: this essential element is part of 70% of the terrestrial surface and is source of life of all the living beings that inhabit the planet earth.
  • Use renewable energies:  these are obtained from a natural source, are inexhaustible and fundamental in the fight against climate change.
